Operation Ryan's Hope

Picture
Ryan first started Operation Ryan's Hope to bring supplies and raise finds for Hurricane Katrina victims. Ryan was then 7 years old and gathered up his toys as he watched on TV a little girl being lifted from her house rooftop with nothing but the clothes on her back. That night he began gathering his toys and clothes and within weeks, we were sending off full 40' semi truck loads of supplies.  After months of dedicating our time and energy to the cause, we were able to send over 250,000 lbs of supplies to the affected areas.

Seven years later and Ryan is reviving Operation Ryan's Hope and dedicating it to a new cause. In his own words, " I want to use music as a way to bring hope to children and young people who are in need. I don't want to limit it to children who are less fortunate or homeless, I want to include everyone from foster children, to sick/ terminally ill children, sad or depressed kids, or just anyone who needs a lift. Music always makes me feel better and I want them to feel that too!"

So through Ryan's vision, Operation Ryan's Hope is bringing music to those in need. We are currently working on designing a small .mp3 player which will be preloaded with songs donated from musicians to inspire and bring hope to those in need. These will include players for the smallest of children and toddlers on up to teenagers and young adults. We are getting ready to start our Kickstarter Project and will keep you informed and updated. Our new Operation Ryan's Hope wristbands have just arrived in time to share at NAMM!  So let's work together to use music to bring hope to someone in need!
